Rosalee Anderson’s encounter with Jesus changed her life and began a mission combining a love of scripture and art. An active prayer life and daily reading of the Bible encouraged her to apply her talent as a means for others to visualize the Word and have it speak to them, as it did to her.

“It’s my desire to promote the Word of God through calligraphic artwork. The scripture inspires the design which, I trust, causes the viewer to see the message more deeply or in a new way.”

Mrs. Anderson received a BA in art from Georgetown College in Georgetown, KY, and her home and studio are in Frankfort KY.

An involved member of the International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH), Rosalee has taught workshops in gilding and illumination. In addition, she has helped increase interest in calligraphy through private lessons and demonstrations at events. Her commissioned work can be found in many churches, private homes, galleries, and stores. Her gift of art has expanded to include illustrations for children’s books and calligraphic designs on walls in churches.
